I heard on the news about hybrid cars. How can cars make hybrids? they are not animals?

Hi,
They are actually refering to BIG TRUCKS. We have a brake on our engine called a "Jake Brake". It's a loud rumble that hear omitted from a Trucker's exhaust. We have 3 actually braking sytems, one is the transmission staying in low gears helps keep speed off, the actually brakes on our tires and finally one where it retards or closes the valves intermittently which creates pressure INSIDE the piston chamber, so it slows the pistons speed way down. I don't pay much attention to the signs. At 80,000 pds I need all my breaking power.
