If a group of car enthusiasts want to form a "Club" is a Constitution required? Are Clubs registered somewhere

Question:
This refers to a currently informal 'Club' made up of classic car enthusiasts and the question has arrisen due to some 'members' who think we need to have public liability insurance when cars are displayed at shows or rallies.
At present we have no club constitution but have volunteer commitee members and a subscription to cover incidental costs.

Is nitrous illegal in NH? How much is it around NH to get the tank refilled?

Good question. I just bought a classic Buick and im looking to join a club myself. Im sure you and all your club members have some type of insurance on your cars, this should be good enough. Some clubs are registered. My friend is in a club that isnt, they goto car shows and stuff like that. I would draw up a basic constitution for the club, kind of like guidelines and rules, just for the club. Like a stock division, custom division, stuff like that, nothing too extreme.

What happened to UK free road tax for cars under 1000cc?

If you are collecting subs then you ought to have some form of written agreement. If you want to open a banking account under the club identity this will be essential, otherwise you will have to have the money under a trusted members name. Regarding Public Liability all the vehicles should have individual 3rd party insurance anyway; you need to make sure that the individual insurers know of the displays and that the cover needs to extend off road. Otherwise the organisers of the rally should have PL cover in case anybody trips up, and your club needs to have details of this.
