How long does it take a car to consume its power steering fluid?

How much would it cost to get my windows tinted for an '04 Lancer in California Bay Area?

Normally you should not lose any power steering fluid. After several years of use, the rubber seal on the PS pump may harden and wear the shaft of the pump causing it to leak. Seals can also crack with age. If usage is excessive ie; maybe 1 pint every 4-6 months, then I would look at getting a rebuilt pump at AutoZone or other parts store. They aren't that expensive.

If your car is going through powersteering fluid, then you have a leak. That can be an issue if you forget to fill it, and it could ruin your powersteering.
