I have been saying "no more" every time I vote. I remind representatives that, if they vote to raise taxes, I will vote against them. Usually, my warnings are ignored. I always vote against anyone who wants to raise taxes for anything.We can't. The Government screws every single one of us in America, Land of the Taxes. Actually, the rich are getting taxed less whilst the blue collar and middle classes carry out the most weight of taxes. In my opinion, it's severely messed up when it comes to Taxes.

All the government ever do is create more congestion then charge us for it! As for using public transport - you must have a death wish, and way more time than me! A 61 year old charity worker was attacked by a bunch of youths on a train, at a station near me, and left unconsious on the platform. His crime - he happened to catch the eye of one of these youths. I'd rather live than use most public transport. Other problems are it smells, people are obnoxious and ignorant, and they're unreliable.

This government is extremely good at the 'Divide and Conquer' principle. Although we have taxes that we all pay, they bring in other 'stealth' taxes that only affect a few people at a time. This means that there is never enough interest raised when people shout about the latest 'tax' to affect them.Mshea did you ride in to work today or take the bus?
When the majority shouts, then we will say 'No More' but the chances of this happening are not great. Especially when it is now probably illegal to even make arrangements to protest. Some obscure 'terrorist' law will probably come into effect!
Even road use charges will not affect you in the way you think. It will be bought in in Cities (Congestion charge is a road use charge), then in towns and then before you know it, you will be spending six hours a week on the computer trying to find a way to work that will avoid a 'charged road'. Then we will all travel an extra seventy miles a week and damage the environment even more.

If they are sooo bothered about congestion, why the hell don't they give people a reliable, viable alternative? People don't have any other way of getting to work other than by car, especially if they have to drive as part of their jobs, public transport is dangerous and unreliable. Buses aren't maintained and trains are as bad, then you've got the idiots that are on there, you know the ones, with their i-pods blasting crap music out, sitting there intimidating people, its horrible.
