Dodge Nitro?

Question:
I recently drove a Dodge Nitro rental car. I have only owned Japanese cars and before that I had a SAAB and a Volkswagen. My question, is the quality of the Nitro common with "American" made vehicles or is the Nitro better than most?

The Nitro is bad quality, lower than normal. My dad bought one and his computer has gone out twice on him. His nitro has less than 500 miles on it. Dont buy one, they are nothing but problems.

you better drive some GM vehicles if you think the nitro is good, the nitro isn't too well liked by the press as most of the chrysler line.

its a good looking vehicle but there having too many problems out of it right now ,we went and test drove one in Knoxville Tennessee,and it stalled out at a red light,we had to call the dealer to come and get us,and the car,i was very pissed at that time,and the dealer was also needless to say i wont be buying one of them,look at some of the newer gm products,they have some nice ones out now,good luck i hope this help,s.

Are the body's of DMC Deloreans stronger than the cars out today?

Well, we have an 06 Charger and so far the quality is up to snuff. Well, almost everything, the chrome (fake) around the shifter popped off once. Otherwise it is fine. I assume the Nitro would possibly be better, because the quality looks better in the Nitro.
