SUV Question???

Under normal driving conditions without lots of high preformance racing or heavy towing a oil and filter change every 3000 to 5000 miles and your engine will last forever. All of the additives in the world wont do a thing. Organic oil is just as good as expensive synthetic unless you have a turbo, are flying a jet engine or cold start the engine unplugged at 40 below. Your vehicle probably isnt a Bentley or Maseratti so dont be ripped for your cash.

Can I rent a car w/o the extra surcharge if I'm under 25?

I am a professional mechanic and recommend changing your oil and filter every 3000 miles or 3 mos. By doing a regular service you will extend the life of your engine. Oil changes are far less expensive than engines. Oil will " break down " as far as lubricating
properties are concerned.

Is premium gasoline really worth it ??!?

Use synthetic, or half synthetic oil. If you want your engine to really last, the best thing you can do is change the oil on schedule. Old, dirty oil is not nearly as good of a lubricant, and the bearings, races, and piston rings will wear out much faster.

How do you go about getting a hgv license to drive lorrys for companies?

Then again, there are a hundred other things that can go wrong with your car that will take it out of commision before the engine quits on you, getting a new engine is just the most expensive.

Cilinder difference?

Been doing fine with the 3 or 3 method. If you do lots of stop and go driving them that's sever driving conditions according to most owners manuals, but if you do lots of highway driving then you can extend the oil change for a few thousand more miles. Its only the size of the oil filter that made us start changing the oil sooner. Most are small then a typical cup of coffee so they start breaking down sooner putting all the contaminant back into the oil. Stick with what your car was made with, filters do have their own top ten list but the most advertised is not the best one for the buck.
