Don't have to obey guidelines for provisional license over age 18?

I’m in Maryland and my friends say that since I’m 18 I can drive between 12-5am even though my provisional license does not permit it. is that right?

All the rules on the web page http://mva.state.md.us/index.html... say "under 18" on all the restrictions, so it appears 18 is the magic age when the restrictions disappear. But to be perfectly safe, I think I would stop by and get a full license if possible.

Sounds about right, I'm in Ohio, though. They make that law so minors aren't driving during the major time that people who were out drinking are going home.
