Is it really hard to get car driver's license in Australia?

I have taken 20 lessons so far but my instructor says I need more! They are so expensive. I don't want to get a car with learners license.

20 lessons seems like an aweful lot. Unless you are pretty bad. I would sujest you go driving with someone else you know is a good driver.. see what they think, then if they say you appear ready, study up on your manuel and go for it... good luck..

Try and get a friend or family member to take you out in their car to gain more experience in between lessons. also brush up on your driving book whist taking lessons. This will help you be more confident while you are on the road. Happy Lessons

Sounds like you might be being taken for a ride :)
Try having a lesson with another instructor or a friend with a full license and some experience, ask them before you go for thier honest opinion on whether they think you need more lessons if they say yes then you probably do.
If they say no then just go do the test and see how you go
