what is the software the car manufacturers use to design car body?3d max?Catia?etc?
Your tranny needs workposibly the bands need tightening.
get that checked because if its just your bands it not to much to have fixed over getting a new tranny.
What do chassis do for your car?
You sure it's the engine and not the transmission? You probably have bad bearings on the "high speed" idler shaft! Or even bad bearing on output shaft that doesn't really start to grind till the rpms get to higher speeds! It would be to your advantage to get it checked out now while the problem is just a few parts, instead of waiting till you may even have to replace the whole transmission, because it did the "hangernade" trick on you!Scuff on my painted alloys..how to fix?
there is a little needle bearing between the output shaft and the main shaft. its gone. its worn to the point of being powder. the outputshaft race and the main shaft are toast as well. take out the trans and put in another. the main shaft alone will cost more than a salvage tranny and the output shaft isnt much cheaper. then theres bearings and seals and keys and all the brass. oh and seals and gaskets... get a salvage trans do a swap. replace the clutch while youve got the tranny out. this needle bearing is for idleing, it allows the output shaft to spin while not in gear. but in gear it does nothing, but when its gone there is a gap between the OP shaft and the main shaft, hence vibration and speedMore Questions & Answers ...
