Because restoring an old classic is fun and there is nothing like driving and old classic car! They look great and it is all about enjoying the car. I do agree some people go overborad spending over 100K on their cars, but I have an old classic Buick and it is a blast to drive and talk to people wherever I go. I enjoy my car... im not obsessed with every little screw and bolt having to be chromed and shined up... LOL!Are Volkswagon Used Jetta's/ Cabrio's reliable cars?
because some people get a thrill out of making a thing that would normally be beat up and old into something that's worth more but in a different way. not everyone is concerned with looks. i guess it's nearly the same reason one would live in a beat up old tiny house and park a mercedes out front. it's all about priorities I guess. some people like loud music and shiny rims, some like the car to run.Who knows a cheap container shipment company?

Because new cars will never have the style of older iron. They are better built even with years of use on them than new cars. They are fun to work on and drive.I restore vehicles to past time also a older restored vehicle gets looked at with smiles. Plus i can say that i built it.
