How do i get that sound?

ok i know this sounds weird for me to ask but on fast and the furious the honda s2000 that johnny tran drives, i was woundering how would i get that sound out of my exhaust? i drive a dodge neon se.

Your going to have to experiment with different mufflers for the sound you are looking for. I tried like 3 different mufflers to I was happy with what I have now. Good luck.

Because of the high rpms (close to 9000) that this car can produce it would be kind of hard reproducing this sound with a 4 cylinder Neon. You would come closer producing this sound from the SRT-4 Neon with the turbo. The S2000 Honda has a special engine that incorporates what Honda knows about car engines and years of making motorcyle engines. I believe that the car was turbocharged and had a big blowoff valve as well.

hmmn, you reckon guys?! i think he is talkin about the sound when vtec kicks in. watch a few honda racing vids and listen when they hit about 5000 revs, it makes this . annoying sound that deepens and sounds like its gonna break, lol i make it sound bad, sorry, but it just doesnt sound as smooth as it should at times, but yeah its the variable valve timing, so mate, i reckon do and engine swap, or... maybe even a car swap would be the better option :D
