Automatic transmission question, plz get what i want 2 know b4 answering..?

Question:
if the car is going whatever a 100 km/h, & i put the transmission on N, and go on like this for whatever period of time, y would the transmission system overheat ? given that there is no gear engaged at Neutral ! and the engine speed is at it's minimal (not touching the gas pedal)
what will cause the overheat if that even happens?

Does anyone know that website that sells shoes and car interiors?

i didn't try it but says so in the manual?!

If you manual says it will - it will. Do you think that a random person on CarQnA.com knows your car better than people who designed it?

Is this a good buy?

shouldn't do anything to hurt the transmission, it wouldn't overheat because the pump still runs in neutral, so it would have fluid flowing

Is there a place in Las Vegas, to rent an exotic car,i.e. a Lamborghini, or other high profile car?

Most manuals say not to run the car in neutral because it's not safe not because it will overheat the tranny. The transmission and engine help slow the car down so you don't have to depend only on the brakes, if you did have the car in neutral and then shifted it back into gear abruptly that would do some damage to the transmission.
