when you take the test try not to think of the person as someone to fear, think of it as another driving lesson, and remember everything you learned from the written test, you,ll have to rely on this knowledge while your taking the test also, just think of the instructor as an other person, and don't be nervous, its just another lesson in driving, and you,ll do fine with it,good luck hope you pass it with flying colors. If u only have one parent do u get to take drivers edd early?
My best advice, get some sleep. Believe it or not, if you over focus on it you'll forget everything you know. I stressed before my first one and failed. My second one I didn't study at all and passed with a 100! So chill, you'll be fine.I have a dui, can i still become a truck driver?
Relax. Make sure your not getting an ***-hole of a teacher in the car. They tend to flunk you in an instant and make you pay another fee to take the test.Scammers. D:<
Have you looked at the Motor of Vehicles booklet yet? You'll do fine. Some states have different rules and regulations. Just ask for it prior to taking the test and see if there are questions and answers in there that you possibly might not have known the answer for. One question I do remember on the test is Driving is a privilege. I know that answer for sure. Also check on driving during weather conditions and distances for braking and 18 wheeler trucks there stopping distance. I wish you much luck!! Just breathe and think confident.
Make sure you know how things operate on the INSIDE of the car. For instance, the instructor may ask you to demonstrate both left and right automatic, as well as manual turn signals , how to operate the defroster, the parking brake, emergency flashers, headlights, windshield wipers, etc. Be sure you know how to work the controls on the dashboard in case you are asked. Most importantly, DO NOT proceed to put the car into motion until you have asked the instructor to BUCKLE HIS SEAT BELT. Proceed with caution out of the parking lot, make sure to look both ways before doing anything, and watch your speed limit. Come to complete stops at stop signs before continuing on. Remember to breathe, relax, and you'll do fine. Good luck.
