Question:
I've just heard about the GM Flexfuel program that uses E85- 85% corn (uhh....) and 15% gasoline. Where is it possible to purchase one of these? I would want a Chevrolet Avalanche or Tahoe that runs on Flexfuel. One of my relatives would like it.
Answers:
how do I take off using a manual in the snow?
You can buy a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon at any GM dealer. All the 5300 engines use Flex Fuel as well as Active Fuel Management.how can I check my cars history without going to Carfax?
The efficiency point below is valid (I don't think the drop is anywhere near 40%, though), but the bigger picture is how much less gasoline you are burning, the greatly reduced tailpipe emissions, and where the source of ethanol in the mix is coming from (right there in the good old USofA)
Does using Cruise Control Save Gas??
Even though this doesn't directly relate to your question, please be aware that an engine running E85 isn't as fuel efficient at it running on regular gasoline. There is less energy stored in ethanol than gasoline so your gas mileage can be reduced anywhere from 25-40%More Questions & Answers ...
