Question:
I have an 88 Sundance. I just had a new fuel pump put on it & now the gas gauge wont work. It did work before it was fixed.
Answers:
I have a question about car inspection law in NC.?
The fuel pump and the fuel gauge sending unit are built together in that vehicle, so if the gauge is not working now, you have a defective sending unit or a bad wiring connection. Take it back to the mechanic who replaced the fuel pump and have him repair it. There should be no charge, as it is a problem with the previous repair!!importance of carrying out engine performance tests?
let me know, mine doesn't work half the timeDoes anyone have any tips for passing your drivers test to receive your license?! Im soo nervous!?
Take it back to where you had the pump installed, it could be a bad connection or broken wire, or a bad fuel pump.Contact the mechanic have him replace it for free or for a discount
It ain't got no gas in it!!!
wot is the difference between a lorry and a truck ?
Sounds like a bad unit but is more likely a bad ground. If you paid to have it installed, I would make them check it and insist that they don't charge you.If you have any auto repair experience, you can check it yourself with a voltage meter and ohms meter.
