How long do I have to wait to trade in my new car?

You can trade any time you want. There is a catch. With your cost of your vehicle and the time you have owned and the mileage you have put on it. The car has depreciated in value. Most likely you will have some "upside down" equality. This means you already own more than its worth. They will trade and add this amount on top of your next car. This may drive your payment up. This will also cause this car to have "upside down" equality from the beginning. Pretty much the only way to have positive equality in a car is to have it payed off or have put a big down payment on it to begin with. I would look up the value of your car on http://www.kbb.com and call for the payoff to see how much you still vs. what it is worth.
