would a mid ninties 3-series BMW coupe be too much cost, to fix, to insure, or too hard to find. If you kno anywhere where i can find a 60000-70000 mile BMW please give me a site.

living in Illinois, i would say it would be expensive and not the best car to choose. mid nineties BMWs were in the shop more than on the road, it was a period where they had a very poor reliability rating. that would be my main concern. i do not know where in illinois you live, but I live in the southern region and while it doesn't snow much, it still snows. i would suggest a front wheel drive car (the BMW being rear wheel drive) or a 4x4 SUV. for an inexperienced driver, im sure you are aware, snow is very tricky to drive on. i hope this helped and good luck on your search.
