Does any know if there is an atlas that shows roads from the past and current roads?
its a great looking car, dont get me wrong, but a 16 yr. old really shouldnt be driving a sports car. What simple device should I buy with a compus for my car?
I dont think so, the car is pretty expensive and still doesnt have all the kinks worked out of it yet. (Note: It was delayed a few years cause of all the problems they had with it). Get a car that has been on the market longer like grand prix, cause the longer its been on teh market the better the chance that some of the kinks are worked outThat's a lot of money to spend on an unreliable car. If you want something manly don't get a roadster. If you really like the look then get a Honda S2000. Sporty and reliable.
Why do old people always seem to drive big white cars...?
The Solstice has practically no trunk space, and it's awkwardly shaped. You might be thinking "what do I care?" But if it's your only car, trust me, you care. Get a Miata and get a reasonable trunk. Also, the Saturn Sky looks better.Personalized License Plate Ideas?
Also, no, I don't think it looks good for a 16 year old. The only people who rival you for likelihood to damage or destroy their car, themselves, and others are the elderly. Ideally you should get a car that you wouldn't lose sleep over damaging, something that would attract less attention from the law, and something that gives you less temptation to get into trouble.
Are guys intimidated by girls when it comes to sports?
There are cars like that that also offer handling enough to be fun. For example (only listing decently reliable models, mind you...asterisks indicate cop magnets/insurance nightmares):
does anyone know what Koensegg is?
Just about any BMW
Nissan Maxima, Altima (base/low trim late model Sentras are the dullest cars I've ever driven)
Ford Thunderbird, Crown Vic
Mercury Cougar, Grand Marquis, Marauder (though that's getting into OH GOD I SCRATCHED THE PAINT territory)
Lincoln Mark VIII, Town Car
Honda Civic*, Accord
Acura Integra* (lower trim levels), RSX*, Legend, TSX
Toyota Corolla (you'd have to get an 80s model for this to be REALLY fun...not just the AE86, any of them), Celica*
Hyundai Elantra (get the hatch! God it looks so much better than the sedan!)...really, it's surprisingly good, Tiburon*
Any Saab save the 9-7
Subaru Impreza (WRX could be a cop magnet, and could goad you into killing yourself), Legacy, Forester (really...excellent handling, even in the base model)
Chevy Caprice, Monte Carlo (great car except for the materials)
Mazda 3, Protege 5 (god such a nice car...)
Have you bought an American car that is a piece of Junk?
You might also consider:
Scion. The tC looks fast but isn't. The other two aren't fast and don't look it. But the xB has a terrific interior...cavernous and comfortable.
Suzuki Aerio
BMW 320d slowing down after driving for a while... Could it be the turbo's?
If you need to get a sports car (and trust me, you do), get one of the cars on this list FIRST, drive it for a year or two, then replace it. You'll be a better driver for it, and the sports car will feel more satisfying.
What spinning address caddy put more than a few coins in Arnold Neustadter's pocket, in 1952?
I'd particularly suggest the Thunderbird/Cougar/Mark VIII, as you get plenty of torque, rear wheel drive, and independent rear suspension....but in a heavy car. Basically, when you get your Solstice later on (or better yet, your Miata) you'll already have an idea how to drive it, only everything will feel lighter and faster. If you got used to driving front wheel drive, you wouldn't know what to do when you got in trouble. (It's much easier to go from RWD to FWD than vice-versa) They're also cheap, there are plenty of parts if you mangle it, and they're cheap to insure (at your age, that's hugely important).
How does the Torsen differential work?
Also they have big, comfortable back seats. It's uncomfortable to make out in a 2 seat sports car, and just about impossible to have sex there. (experience.)
Can your car windows roll down by them self?
edit: There is no car manlier-looking than any of the Ford V8s. Black or pearlescent white Mark VIII FTW.
Is a right handed drive car legal to drive in the United States?
edit2: There is no hardtop Solstice (yet?). It might have a removable hard top, but they're ALL convertibles.
Is it bad to charge my palm pilot overnight? How about my cellphone?
Sure. A 16 year old with a 2 door sports car, all you can do is look at it. By the time you make your insurance payment you won't have anything left for gas.Why do people paint their cars to look like hot wheels?
