Getting Florida License?

Question:
I am moving to Florida in about 5 weeks. I currently live in MD and I am 17 years old. I have my permit right now and will get my provisional license on May 12. I leave for Florida on May 20. Will I have any problems getting my provisional license in Florida because I have only held a provisional license for 1 week prior to moving? What I mean is, Will I either have to test for my license again, or will I be demoted back to a permit and have to hold that for another 6 months and then wait to get my license again? Thanks for your help!

Answers:

Do you have a person's name for your car? What is it?

Try logging onto www.MyFlorida.com which is the State's website. it contains info on driver's licenses, taxes, hunting/fishing, pretty much everything regulated by the state. Not sure on how things would work for you as you are a newer driver, but when I moved and transferred a Commercial Driver's license, all I had to do was pay a fee and take a picture. Check the website though!!
