Question:
I will soon be buying a new car and am deciding between a few models. I am looking for (1) reliability, (2) AWD, (3) sporty feel and drive, (4) good gas mileage, (5) great build quality, (6) navigation system which actually works as it should, and (7) looks. I have narrowed my choice down to two of the above mentioned cars, but am interested to hear the opinions of others. What do you think?

Lexus - just flat up can't go wrong here. Most copy Lexus to try to get to their level.
Volvo - great car, its safety history says enough. Don't think the S40 comes with nav though.

What will be the primary form of transportation in Santa Cruz, California in 20 years?
volvos are very nice cars, but i have no personal experience with them. Myself i'd go with the audi A4. They are very responsive. Have pretty good room inside. And personally i think they are a very sexy car. Subaru's are good, but it seems like every highschool kid that has parents with money is driving them around with angry bee coffee can mufflers on.
