Why not K & N filters by manufactures?

Question:
If K & N filters increase the performance and economy of the engine, why not by manufactures?

Answers:

Why do the gas pumps have different "speeds" on them?

Cause they are crap LOL. I mean filters, not manufacturers.

You have raised the car up just high enough off the safety stands so you can slide the stands out from under?

They might give you a slight increase in full throttle high rpm hp at the expense of higher noise and probably worse filtering. All talks about fuel economy are bs, if anything it will be worse.

I need bus made in Canada model 2007 45 feets?

I agree but such a a manufacturer of there auto's will say most of them say such filters void warranties. I also feel they want you back buying a new filter instead of cleaning and a very slight mist of oil note never over oil any aftermarket filter. There is also one more thing to keep in mind if buying a open element air cleaner make sure they have a OE number listed. Which is executive order number and note it says note no emissions equipment is bypassed.

What type of energy will cars most likely run on 20 years from now?

because car makers are into keeping their cars around and not having to pay a lot through warrenties to replace engines. Think about it, more air flow = less filtering, there is no way around it. You let more dirt into your engine with a K&N. Over a long time, think 100,000 miles, it starts to add up.

How do you do a or three point turn?

All OEM and standard replacement air and oil filters are rated at a micro inch filtering ability. If K&N filters could stop the same sized dust and dirt particles as the standard filters all automobile companies would all make their own in a minute. As it stands now GM will back out of their warranty if the dealerships find a replacement gause / oil filter of any brand on a new car thats under warranty.
If you've ever looked through a new K&N at the sun you will see many empty spots. There's no filtration there at all. Fine dust and dirt will pass straight through.

What is considered a moped, and how old do u have to be to drive it in virginia?

Personaly I have a K&N on a Mercury Sable with the 24 valve motor. It went on when I purchased the car with 28,000 miles. Today the motor has 132,000 miles. I faithfully change the oil every 3-4 months and the motor has never used a drop between 3, - 3,500 mile oil changes. My theory is cylinder wall abrasion has been non -existant. The air filter must be doing it's job. I clean and re-oil it yearly.

GPS vs. Web Based Mapping Software: Which Gets You There Better?

To add a little note. At Toyota dealerships they sell an optional air filter. It's called a TRO Performance Air Filter. On the outside front of the box says: High Flow-Low Restance. To look at it it's a copy of a K&N to a T. Filter service is exactly like a K&N.
