why dont every automobile company make their car all hybrid?

because the american public is not ready yet for all hydrid cars and neither is the auto industry, they are more expensive than a conventional car and what they don't tell you is the battery has to be replaced every 7 yrs. at a price of $2,000. right now, in the long run you are not saving any money, the whole system needs more perfection before the auto industry is going to convert to hybrid.

How is car production financed?

Because the batteries a hybrid uses makes it five times heavier and five times more expensive to maintain -- especially when you have to replace all those batteries.
When someone develops an economically viable fuel cell, then they'll make more hybrids.

Because:
1. They wouldn't necessarily sell.
2. Replaceing half of the machines in the factories would be a major expenditure for the company. The figure would be larger than the annual profit.
