Question:
why dont every automobile company make their car all hybrid?
Answers:
You're on the open road, hundreds of miles to go. What tunes do you bring to pass the miles?
I don't want a hybrid. My neighbour woke me up banging on my door at midnight asking if I would?
Because that's not what the public wants to buy. Only dorks and enviro wienies drive them.I would'nt drive a hybrid unless it got 20000 miles/gal
I'll take my SUV anyday!
How is car production financed?
Because the batteries a hybrid uses makes it five times heavier and five times more expensive to maintain -- especially when you have to replace all those batteries. When someone develops an economically viable fuel cell, then they'll make more hybrids.
Does anyone have an idea on how much an old Phillips 66 gas pump is worth?
cause they are not idiots :)Why bother? Go check your local car dealers -- the lots are FULL of hybrids. They can't give'em away.
Which way do you think cost you more?
Because:1. They wouldn't necessarily sell.
2. Replaceing half of the machines in the factories would be a major expenditure for the company. The figure would be larger than the annual profit.
