Why are car salesmen so horrible?
i have a real good friend that works at advance, and you have to fairly good with cars,or fake it ,either way they will train you for the job,but you have to know one part from the other, not like some people think they do,but according to what my friend says its a good place to work at,any thing that has to do with cars now days is a good business to be in,good luck i hope this helps.I need a reputable car hauler from LA to Dallas?
If you have a lot of patience for people and can handle loads of dumb questions and ignorant people,go for it.Don't expect to get rich, but they may give you an employee's discount on parts. Obviously the more knowledge of automobiles you have the better off you'll be,and the faster you'll get a raise. Good luck!An auto parts retailer is a great starting out job for a young person. I did it back in the 70's, and it turned out to be some of the most useful experience I ever got. You don't need any knowledge (although it always helps), and if you apply yourself; you can learn a lot about cars in a short time. This kind of "inside information" can save you tens of thousands of dollars and years of time it would normally take a person to spend on repair bills and learn the hard way about car maintenance. It would probably be a lot easier now with computers doing most of the work. We had to fish through libraries full of books and sometimes go through hell to find a particular part!
