What wastes more gas: putting the top down in a convertible or turning on the air conditioning with the top up

Question:
the a/c is turned to medium and you drive with the same style in both

Answers:

How to find sponsor companies to fund my research on quick(5min)charge EV batteries ,by electrolyte change?

I saw this on the show mythbusters. They drove a big SUV, with all the windows down, and the sunroof open, against the same SUV with the A/C on. It takes much less fuel to drive with all windows down, I think they got like 30 more laps (on a race car track), which is quite a long way. I would imagine the results would be the same for a convertible.

Legally, are you supposed to follow the streetlight or the "walk/don't walk" sign when crossing streets?

When its nice enough for the top to come down;Do it.Isn't that what you bought it for?

How can i quicken my car's acceleration?

Top down uses more gas, unless you're driving below 25 mph. Aerodynamics make a vast difference, whereas a/c doesn't use all that much power these days.

Which is better? rear engine bus or the one with front engine? why?

If I could buy a convertible I would take the
top down and run the a/c.
