Which wheels are the drive wheels on an articulated bus?

Question:
They have two axels in front of the ariculation and one set at the back. The motor is at the very back (I think) so which wheels are the drive wheels? The set just in front of the articulation would make the most sense, but then how do they transfer the power past the articulated section?

In all probability the engine is actually laying on its side under the floor of the front section of the bus driving the axle(s) just forward of the articulation. If it were in the rear, and driving the rear axle, it could push the front section into a "jack-knife" on rainy, icy roadways.

If the engine is in the back then it would be the very rear axle the engine sits sideways and is mounted to a transaxle type of transmission.
