It's meant to keep bugs, tar, rocks, flying whatever, from damaging your cars front end but the problem is it traps dirt, sticks, leaves and whatever else under it and rubs around on the paint therefore scratching it worse than it would have been if you had just left it alone. I had one on a car I bought used with it already in place and I wouldn't recommend it. And beside bras are to lift and separate, and your car doesn't even have boobs!?!?

What is a reasonable price expectation for new tires?

keep bugs from eating your paint off the front end of your car. unsightly but prob worth it in the long run.
