Is 35% tint too much for driver/passenger?

Question:
I'm debating about 35%. I live in california. I know it's illegal. The shop recommended that if I did want it, go for 50%, but i don't want it if it's too light...no point in that.

Who thinks that cars shouldn't have the door open buzzer?

Can I acquire vehicle ownership if abandoned?

Put it this way, I drive with 25% on both the sides and 5% on the back of my truck and I still would like to go darker on the doors. I agree with previous answers, 35% is very light tint and if your using for privacy your still going to be able to be seen very well. Also based on the percent of tint is also how hot or cold the interior temperature gets. Typically many car companies use 35% on the rear windows, maybe that can give you an idea. The lower the percent, the cooler the interior. It's all based on what you perfer.
