I either want a Civic SI, RX-S type S, or the Mazdaspeed 6 or even maybe the V6 Mustang. Which car would be the best to tune up and be the fastest and not burn that much fuel. Or if you have any other suggestions

If you want power and fuel economy, go with japanese. The SI and the Type S are good cars, they can go real fast with not a lot of money. You can also try a use S2000 and a use RX7 the (last model) both look good, and fast and their a list list of aftermarket for these two car. Fuel economy is not that good, better than the V6 mustang.You want a fast car. 1967 Dodge Cahrger w/ 440 6 pack. that should do you, or even a 1971 Plymouth Baracuda w/ 426 Hemi.
