I want a fast car!?

I either want a Civic SI, RX-S type S, or the Mazdaspeed 6 or even maybe the V6 Mustang. Which car would be the best to tune up and be the fastest and not burn that much fuel. Or if you have any other suggestions

As the truckers say, "Put the pedal to the metal." Any car will go fast then. Even my old dodge omni would book it if I floored it. So whatsup with needing the fast car? Got somewhere you need to be or get away from in a hurry? Gonna run an ambulance company on the side? Fast cars don't impress anybody anymore. Mercy, here come all the thumbs down from the guys. If you want power and fuel economy, go with japanese. The SI and the Type S are good cars, they can go real fast with not a lot of money. You can also try a use S2000 and a use RX7 the (last model) both look good, and fast and their a list list of aftermarket for these two car. Fuel economy is not that good, better than the V6 mustang.
