I bought an OPTX LED StreetGlow Kit and a StreetGlow Wheel Well Kit Online, they are not Compatible. Help!!?

Question:
I Purchased the StreetGlow OPTX Multi-Color LED Undercar Kit from Advanced Auto Parts, and Bought a StreetGlow Multi-Color LED Wheel Well Kit online. The Wheel-Well Kit can be connected directly with the Undercar Kit, according to their Website. I Discovered that the OPTX Kit is not Compatible with the StreetGlow Wheel-Well Kit, because StreetGlow OPTX is different from the StreetGlow Version.

I found that the StreetGlow OPTX Kit has a Mini-Din with 8 Pins, and the StreetGlow Kit has a Mini-Din with 9 Pins. Even though they are BOTH made by StreetGlow, they are not Compatible! :(

I called Customer Service, and they explained to me that OPTX by StreetGlow is the Retail Version of StreetGlow, and that StreetGlow is the National Version. He said that there is NO DIFFERENCE in the the two, EXCEPT the Mini-Din Connector's.

So Either I get rid of the Wheel-Well Kit, and buy the OPTX Wheel-Well Kit, OR I get rid of the Undercar Kit, and buy the StreetGlow version. Which should I do?
