Project car?

i want to make a project car. I am planning on selling my car and getting the fastest car i can make imaginable. I want to keep it 6 cylinder or less because of insurance. Any good suggestions
about the fastest imports or whatever u think of. Also keep it under 15k and i'll prbly turbo it or supercharge it or upgrade that if it comes standard.

buy a v6 mustang it then put a v8 in it, the vin number will still be a v6, if you get an 88-93 mustang with a 4cyl u can covert them to a v8 easily, the coupes are faster than the hatchback because they are lighter and they also handle better
