At a car factory or engine plant, what is the worst job on the assembly line?
if you drive primarily on the open highway, you will not realize the benefits of a hybrid. the hybrid lowers fuel consumption, by assisting the gasoline engine to get the car moving from a dead stop, to about 20 mph, then the gas engine takes over. so if you dont do alot of stop and go city driving, you should look for the highest highway rating in the class of vehicle that you want to buy, and dont bother with the hybrid. hybrids are cheaper to operate in the city, but when you factor in the replacement costs of the batteries, and divide that by the savings in fuel that you will experience over the life of the batteries, and see if that savings, if any, is worth it to you.More Questions & Answers ...
