when i hit about 25mph i hear this revving sound that gets louder with more speed. if i jerk the wheel to the right or turn right or go along a curve towards the right, it subsides entirely. i am thinking alignment? the guy at the shop says it might be a bearing? what do you all think?

I would recommend paying for a noise evaluation to determine the cause, but from the way that you describe it, a faulty wheel bearing is a very likely cause. An alignment will have absolutely nothing to do with this noise, although the component that may need to be replaced or fixed may require an alignment afterwards. Also, an alignment is a good maintenance procedure anyway every two years.Do pickups have different letters on their liscense plate than a car or are they the same?
i own a repair shop and from what you just said it sounds like a bearing going bad in it ,they will make sounds like that when there going bad,id maybe get another hands on opinion on it but id say it will probably turn out to be a bad bearing in it,good luck i hope this helps.More Questions & Answers ...
