You are paying for the brand name. Honda is a more respected brand than Hyundai.

Also, look at the feature, the power, the torque, what comes standard vs what is optional, the warranty. All these pay a part in the price. However, the main reason would be the brand name.

probably brand recognition; people feel that hondas are very reliable cars, so they will pay more for them. because hyundai is a newer brand of car, people are less likely to trust the brand, so the company probably has to charge less to be able to more the Sonatas off the lot.
