This absolutely depends on where you do the speeding.
What is the perfect sedan for the future?
Please check the local laws in your area to find out.
Or just ask the officer..
It depends how fast you were going, how many previous speeding penalties you have. The magistrates will tell you on the day.
Most people however don't get a ban for speeding (although I think they should), they just get a fine and points on their licence and don't have to appear in court. They plead guilty by letter.

You can loose your licence two ways, either through several offences resulting in 12 points or one hit in court if you were going 30 over whichever limit applied.classic mini or bmw crappy shti thing of a mini? which?
In the first case it's 12 months without your licence. In the second case it's up to the court, often 12 months but depends on the situation. Join an Advanced Driving group now eg IAM for £85 to improve your skills. This is great mitigation when you get to court. Also if possible make a case that someone else will suffer hardship as a result of your loss of licence eg child, wife perhaps through the loss of your income (ie you will loose your job). Were the conditions good at the time of the offence? Put a god case full of mitigation and you may not get a ban and reduce the fine.
why was the early Gasoline automoblie invented?!?!?
