Just use plain water.. Those detergents will strip the oils and wax from your paint and leave it dull looking. You should only ever use a car wash soap for your car.Any suggestions for fairly priced diesel wagon or suv for 2008?

just stop at the car wash, dont use dish soap or anything like that, just pay the 8 dollars and get it done at the car wash or go buy some car soap, dish soap will strip the wax and leave bad water spots, the clear coat just doesnt like it.try using dishsoap, just a small amount though, and DONT let it dry on the car . . . ive done it before . . .

yes u go to the store and get bleach and come home and use plane bleach and email me if it dont workUse dish soap, what you use to wash the dishes. That's what I use if I wash my car at home.
You never ever ever ever ever use dish or any other soap on automotive paint. Dish soap is designed to remove grease and food, not road grime etc. just like shampoo is for cleaning hair. Car soap is for cleaning road grime, bird crap, bugs etc. from automotive paint.
