are tire chains a good alternative in snow driving if you dont have 4 wheel drive?
I assume you want it to be radio controlled? You can get a cheap radio system for $50 from your local hobby store. For the engine, use a weed eater or chain saw engine because they are cheap and come with a clutch. You can use a chainring from a bike for the gear if you fab it to fit. If you have access to a TIG welder you can build the frame from aluminum tubing and use parts from other remote controlled cars for the suspension. You're on your own when it comes to the body. If you're doing all the work yourself you're looking at a couple hundred hours and several hundred dollars to build it. If you're in an area with snow, an easier alternative is to mount a weed eater engine with a big propellor to a plastic sled, and add a wooden rudder to control steering. I made one of these one winter and clocked it a 90mph.For all ur question i would suggest going to ur local hobby shop and depending on what u want to spent they can hook u up.
