Question:
Looking to change my car but would like to keep my current car and maybe do some work on it. (dont worry its not a banger its just getting a bit tired) If it is declared off the road, can it be reinstated for use on the road once any work has been done. I understand this would really only apply for around the Taxing date but is there anything that would cause a problem with doing this. Understand that the car would need taxed before it could be put back on the road anyway.

Why are gas prices more expensive on the West Coast?
Yes you can. I signed the SORN declaration last time my car was due for taxation as it was off the road for a month having major repairs to enable it to get thought the MOT. It caused a slight hiccup when I finally went to the Post Office to re tax it but that was mainly due to a new counter clerk not understanding the system. (To the confused Canadian, here in the UK we have to buy a 6 month or annual 'Road Fund Licence' to run a car on the road, colloquially known as 'tax' - because that's what it is)does anyone here ride the short bus?
I think you would just have to contact the DVLA and declaire the car back on the road. How much does it cost to have a car delivered from San Diego to Austin (approximately)?
