Question:
if a car was repossed by the finance company, but when the tow company picked up the car they broke the axle while dragging the car, who's responsible? The tow company or the finance company?
Answers:
Do you own a second-hand car or a new car?
The tow company. They are insured against damages.About how much money does it take to drive 5 miles in a car?
The towing company.if you have a witness. How often should engine oil be changed?
the tow company will say it wasn't their fault. They had to do it to get the car repoed. The finance co won't care because they will sell the car for what they can get and then come after you for the rest. I doubt that you'll get any satisfaction, and it would be cheaper to just put another axle on in and go on with your life. time you get a lawyer, you are dollars behind already, the lawyer will cost you more and you still won't have a car you can drive. That is assuming that you are planning on getting the car back.no clue

How do they break the axle? Tow companies have a pretty good idea how to tow cars, both front and rear wheel drive. They don't "drag" cars. I would need to know what you mean by broken axle before I could even imagine how that could happen.More Questions & Answers ...
