I take it you mean other than your qualified driver who is teaching you? Yes you can. I am learning and often have my 2 wee girls in the back (my BSM instructor actually advised getting this experience because when i pass i'll be driving them places!!) This is just for private lessons/practice though. I'm pretty sure instructors from driving schools will only let over 14's accompany you on lessons.

Of course they can, but make sure your legal and that the person teaching is 25 or over with full licence. I always go out with my son during his lessons with a driving school, I sit quietly behind him as not to distract him in anyway.
