I Had a Flowmaster 40 series put on my 88 Chevy Silverado 305-V8 on Thursday...im loving it!
How much does it cost the Federal and local governments per year because cars exist?
What else can i do to my truck to get a little more power? i dont want or need a "350", im not getting any other make or model... im very happy with my Silverado.
Is there any way to do a good launch off the line while racing an automatic transmission?

Get a cold air intake, you can get them on ebay, when you stomp on the gas man you will feel the difference, and on a V-8 it will be loud!!What the most economical engine speed while driving? Peugeot 306 XT 1.8 (1995)?

The air intake plus a flowmaster 40 will give you at least 25 horespower more on a V-8, that is what I have on my Durango, Flowmaster 40 and cold air intake, what a difference it makes!!

HeadersWell it's supposed to be throttle body fuel injection, you can disconnect the tan wire, bump the timing up a few degrees, hook the wire back up and try it.
you could put a air system on it no not a fancy one but they make a tornado air system and you you could cam it or put a aluminum manifold and a different carb on it there is a lot you could do. go to summit.com or j.c. Whitney and they have plenty of stuff to pep it up.

Get a performance chip and a new air intake (i.e. K&N). This will let you get the most out of your new free-flowing Flowmaster 40. K&N probably makes intakes and/or performance air filters for your carburated engine. Unlike a fuel-injected engine (which has a computer-controlled air/fuel mix), you may need to manually tweak your carb to give it a richer (more gas) mix after you put on a new intake. I'm sure your truck sounds great, but without any other mods you will not really benefit from the added performance the Flowmaster has to offer.URGENT MESSAGE!
