Had a 2000 Accent, stick shift, traded it in 2004 for an Elantra...Accent was still on its original clutch, had 1 set of brake pads & a set of tires....traded it at 111,000 miles, I still see it around here.
The current Elantra has just clicked over 84,000, 1 set of tires at 66,000, original brake pads.

How far is the dealer from your house? If it's less than 5 miles you can at least get it home. After that your pretty much f**ked. Hyundai's are like the bastard step child of every piece of s**t foreign car. So if you want a overpriced polished turd go ahead and have fun with your hyundai, but good luck trying to talk to the non english speaking mother f**kers who are the only ones that can fix your piece of s**t.how much a month will it cost to have a car including insurance maintance and gas?
In Korea, where parts are in high availability (because you pretty much can't get anything but Korean cars unless you want to pay twice as much as you would in the US), they last quite a while. Not quite as well as Hondas or Toyotas of the same era. But they've gotten a lot better in recent years. Hey, they have 10 year warranties. Hyundai's got to be pretty confident they'll last 10 years to do that. There are plenty of 10-15 year old Hyundais running around Korea. (A few 20-22 year old ones, too)Are womens cars an extension of their handbags ??
They still depreciate like mad, though. Unless you are planning on keeping the car long enough that the difference in value between a Toyota or a Honda and your 8 or 10 year old Hyundai is smaller than the amount of money you saved buying the Hyundai instead, you're better off buying something else.
Whats considered a clean dmv record to an employer?
Basically, they're good cars, but they're only really worth it if you want to keep it for the life of the warranty. In that case, though, they're a hell of a deal.
They last 10 years or 100,000 miles! At least that is the time span that the dealers will continute to fix it's problems under warantee and keep it on the road.

They are certainly more reliable and well-engineered than any American-made vehicle you can purchase for the same price (and, in most cases, several thousands of dollars more).
are there transport services other than cabs to wembley arena concerts?
The Hyundai's I see come into the shop have pretty basic, routine repairs required. Very little outside of their scheduled maintenance. The Fords, Chryslers, and GM brands I see coming into the shop typically require much more extensive and expensive repairs, because they're simply not engineered or constructed as well.
