i got a speeding ticket yesterday. 203 bucks. and a possible 6 points on my license. what is the probablility that that can either reduce the amount of the ticket or reduce the points on my license? should i just pay the fine and not show to court or show to court, please guilty and hope for a reduction?

Never ever ever ever just pay. That's basically acknowledging an extra tax. Can you afford to pay extra taxes? I know I can't.You're going to want to do one of two things:
1.) Plead Not Guilty -- If the officer does not show to play his part as the accuser, you win. If the officer does show, request to see calibration records for his radar gun and certificates showing that he is fully trained in its operation. Most likely he no longer even has these in his possession. If you can come up with some reason as to why the officer may have clocked a different vehicle, that's good too.

2.) Plead Guilty with Reason -- This will probably not get the fine dismissed, but will almost certainly get it lowered. Tell the judge you really, really had to pee. If you take any prescription drugs that you can prove that this is a possible side effect, that will work well in your favor. Come up with some other reason as to why you were speeding, and that's if you don't already have a good one. WARNING:: I was distracted by my kids/cell phone/cheeseburger/stereo will NOT win the day.
