who is looking forward to TOPGEAR?
Excuse me, but continental European vehicles have the same controls in the same places as North American vehicles, because they drive on the same side of the road! It is Britain that has the driver seat on the right side of the car and driving is on the left side of the road.is there a 'grace' time for MOTs?
no the guy in the passanger controls the pedalsHow does a car horn make noise?
yes it is,,its exactly opposite of the ones we drive,,good luck.I would hope so.
sure is.
Why do we call North....North, South....South, East....East, West....West?
Yes they are on the same side. Most countries in Europe drive on the right hand side of the road, so the gas and brake are on the left. The UK drives on the left hand side of the road, and so British cars have the gas and brake on the right (and clutch, since most British cars are manual/stick shift).
yes
What does the overdrive button in my car do?
In the UK and Japan at least, you drive on the right side, but sorry dodge man you are incorrect, I spent three years in england and several visits to Japan and all the cars i drove where right hand drive, manual trans. the gas brake and clutch were exactly the same way as North America. Rt foot Gas, etc. Shifting with your left hand did take some geting used to though.I think tydstoner you misunderstood dodgeman. He actually said the same thing as you in fewer words.
Nancy23na, both of these guys know their cars so your question have been answered.
Gas mileage drops after tune-up, brake job?
No, I just came from living in germany for 4 years, the european cars are the same as ours, you drive on the left side of the car, and the pedals are the same. You also drive on the same side of the street as here in the states. I dont know how these rumors get started....More Questions & Answers ...
