I don't know what you mean by 'in anger'. His accident occurred while filming his TV show, and as he is reported to be returning to the show, I would imagine he will be driving again. He was on the Jonathan Ross TV show tonight (Friday 22nd Dec) and he apparently said he is looking at filming some kind of race or car stunt up in the arctic for the next series of Top Gear. I didn't catch the show myself, but most of the newspapers today ran stories on his remarkable recovery rate. Apparently he has bee out driving in his Subaru 4x4 to fetch the newspaper in the morning.
