Ive practiced it before and have done pretty well. but then there are those few times i hit the curb. In Pennsylvania, what are the measurements for parallel parking and what are some techniques the driving teacher looks for as your taking your exam? I need to knwo this stuff cause im taking my test next saturday. and i really dont wanna fail. please give me some pointers and tips.

This is how I learned..Pull up beside the car in front... your passenger mirror should line up with their bumper. Put the car in reverse, and turn the wheel clockwise while moving. This should back you up into the spot. Watch your front end. When you are just clear their bumper, turn the wheel back and voila.. you're in.

I was just answering someone else with a tip on practising.. use two garbage cans and practise on the street infront of your house, or a quiet area. Move the cans closer together for 'tight' spots, further apart for big ones.

All I can say re: the exam, as long as you dont hit another car or go up and over the curb you should be okay.. grazing it isnt that big of a deal (but I cant say for sure about your area.. i'm in Canada and my test was 16 years ago)..
