they really wont save your life in a crash on the street, especially if you arent wearing a seatbelt. the standard jaws of life can cut thru anything but thats not the point. in a high speed collision a normal car is supposed to crush or give in certain places called crumple zones and when a rollcage is introduced the body is exponentially strenghtend so therefor the car cannot crush and soak up the energy of the impact. remember, crashes dont kill you, its the sudden stop that does.More Questions & Answers ...
