as far as i know yes but you should confirm this by contacting the dvla i know my dad had to undergo a medical when he reached 60 a couple of years ago he failed due to high blood pressure once he see a doctor and got his blood pressure treated,he had another medical and got his hgv back so you should be ok.

I suggest you check for certain with the DVLA but I reckon all you need is to get a new medical and then apply for the entitlement back
