Question:
is it ok to brake without hitting the clutch when you're trying to slow down or to stop. if so, what are the limits?
Answers:
You can brake without using the clutch, but when you come to a complete stop both the brake and the clutch must be used or else the car will stall.
What does 'homologation' mean in the context of car history?
yes if u are in 1st gear and you do this there is a higher chance u will stall and also u will stall alot sooner but say if u was doin 70mph on the motorway in 5th gear and u press the brake u dont need the clutch unless obviously you are coming to a complete stop then you will need topress the clutch to save stalling!of course it's ok. Just hit the clutch when you're really slow, so you don't stall.
