I have always had a love of cars, especially USA muscle cars and race cars. I'm the crew chief for a racing team in Top dragster and Top eliminator. Plus I plan to run my own Top pro car next year.Why don't they round out the back of big rig trucks for aerodynamic efficiency?

Not at all! I hate to drive. I hate to be driven! I don't like to be in a car. But I LOVE to look at classic cars. I just love the curves and the lines. I mean, how could you not look at a 1932 Auburn 851 Boat-tailed speedster and not feel something!

Yes, it is a power symbol, but it also more or less represents freedom to a male, because it means they can go anywhere with it if they want to.

On the one hand cars can establish your status in society. on the other hand i find driving fun, so i like cars that would be fun to drive.it might be a power thing, but for me its like a big toy. when i bolt something new on, or get something in the mail for my car i feel like a kid on christmas. i can hardly wait to see whatever widget i purchased does or how it looks. my wife just thinks its weird. but i love cars its what i do its what i teach. it paid for my house and all of my toys. and oh yeah it is a lot of fun to just smoke the other guy. it makes me giggle.

I think just as many women are into cars but men are more known for it and yeah, it's about power, possessing it controling it harnessing it. I can't say as to where my own love for cars came from except my Dad. I had been looking over the fender as he worked on cars since I was old enough to walk and I would have to say it's in my DNA. But it's definitely a desire to dominate, but as I said before alot of women have the same desire.Men like cars for the same reason women like manicures. It is ingrained into our psyches from a very early age. Boys play with cars, girls play with dolls. Whether men want to admit it or not, their cars are simply adult versions of the Matchbox toys we carried around in our pockets when we were kids. I know that's a generalization, but I try to keep my answers simple :-)

Personally for me its like art. I like to take something that mostr people think is ugly and turn it into something beautifulYes.
