The government seem determined to get us to use public transport, even though, even now its overstretched..?

Question:
...or in some places does not exist in a usable form.
So, Would you take part in a oneday "everybody use public transport day"?

No matter who you are, for one day nobody uses their car. The only catch would be that you must make a concerted effort to go about your daily business using public transport, bike, pogo stick or space hopper. The last 2 won't be compulsory, after all not everyone has a pogo stick. The real show off's can, of course, use a wagon and horse.
Just an idea to show them that before we leave the cars at home we must first have a public transport system thats easy, co-ordinated and cheap to use.

If you had a specially made license plate,,what would it say?

My nearest town of any size for employment is 14 miles away. The return bus fare is nearly £5 per day, and trains do not serve the route. A car journey takes 20 minutes and costs, say, a gallon of petrol. If two travel the bus fare is double but the car price remains the same. Until some bright enterprising soul comes up with either subsidies, or an equally economic mode of transport, the car is here to stay until the oil runs out.

I bought an OPTX LED StreetGlow Kit and a StreetGlow Wheel Well Kit Online, they are not Compatible. Help!!?

I completely agree with you. I have been a bus driver for over 3 years and I know for a fact that if even half of the people in the city ditched their cars for 1 day every bus on the road would be full within 5 minutes of leaving the depot and would then run late and just keep getting later for the whole day. They would not be able to keep to their time tables and because they are already full they would have to run past anyone standing at the bus stops because we are only allowed to carry the amount of passengers that the bus is billed for.
